Digital Signal Processors (DSP) and Digital Signal Controllers (DSC) are distinct concepts. Since both are foreign to most readers, it may be better to not join their pages.

The DSC contains a DSP, and the distinctions between different constellations of general processing power, signal processing power, and increasingly also FPGA capabilities on some of these chips, will continue to vary in the foreseeable future. Today, we have no reason to confuse readers by hoarding too many aspects into the same page. (KISS, please.) 93.106.165.165 (talk) 18:58, 13 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
