Questions for the candidate
Dear candidate, thank you for offering to serve Wikipedia as an administrator. Please answer these questions to provide guidance for participants:
- 1. What administrative work do you intend to take part in?
- A: I tend to take part in work on railroads, mainly Turkish and Eastern European along with historical articles regarding Turkey.
- 2. What are your best contributions to Wikipedia, and why?
- A: I believe my best contributions are the Turkish State Railways article. Even though I didn't start it, I have contributed to it greatly by adding many sections and photographs. I also believe the the İZBAN article is one of my best too. However these articles are still being expanded when ever I can. I also have uploaded many pictures of trains in Turkey.
- 3. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or have other users caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
- A: Yes there has been one; On the Turkish State Railways article some unregistered user is replacing my photo of the Karesi Express (one of the railways main trains), with a barely visible photo of the high-speed railway. I told the user to stop reverting, but since he has been continuing to do so, I have requested the protection of that page from unregistered users.

Hello. I am user Central Data Bank and I am nominating my self for adminship. I believe I could contribute even more as an administrator. I have edited over 3,000 articles and have been a member since 2007. English is my first language but I also know Turkish and a little German. My area of expertise is railroad, especially Turkish railroad and railroad in the middle east and Balkans, all though I have knowledge about railroads in the US and Canada. I edit mostly articles regarding Turkey. I also have uploaded many pictures (my own work) for several articles. I also have knowledge of history (WWII, Cold War, American Revolutionary War). These are the main reasons I believe I would make a good administrator on Wikipedia. Thank you.
