Friends of Science in Medicine is an organisation dedicated to a rigorous application of the best science to any health-related profession and oppose health education and practice not based on convincing scientific evidence.

Foundation

The organisation was founded in late 2011, and the five founders include:

Membership quickly swelled to 400+, indicating that the need for this society was long overdue.

On the 25 February 2012 we reached the milestone of 500 Friends, 70% of whom were professors, assistant professors or doctors, many from overseas.
