Agnus is the name of a range of custom chips that were featured in the Amiga home computer. Agnus worked in tandem with the Denise chip and were collectively known as the Video Timing Coprocessor or "copper". Agnus deals with timing and moving screen data, while Denise provides the video output.

Agnus was replaced by Alice in the A4000 and A1200 when the AGA chipset was introduced.
