Shotcode is circular barcode from OP3, which uses bulls eye in center and datacircles around it. Databits are readed from datacircles with switching angle in certain radius from centerpoint. Idea behind circular barcodes is that they can be read with cheap low quality cameras like webcams or mobile phone cams on realtime. Also technics like to track movement not just to read id-codes is presented. In University of Cambridge 2002 technic was in name TRIPCode and used to track tags with webcams. 2004 Company named High Energy Magic from people of University of Cambridge also tried to commerialize samekind technology in name SpotCode and sold it to swedish OP3 in 2005 which changed its name to ShotCode.
