— The Composer of the Month focuses on improving opera composers' biographies and articles relating to their works. —

March 17, 2012 marks the 150th anniversary of the death of Fromental Halévy, our Composer of the Month.

His biography could use expansion and we lack articles on several of his operas:

Le roi et le batelier (1827)
Clari (1828)
La dilettante d'Avignon (1828)
Le lazzarone, ou Le bien vient en dormant (1844)
