Rajeeb Samdani (born in 28 March 1974) is a Bangladeshi industrialist. He is currently the Managing Director of Golden Harvest Group [1][2] and the founder and trustee of Samdani Art Foundation.[3]
Career
He started his career as a commodity broker with the British steel trading company Stemcor. The commodity business[4] grew and more diversified with the passing years.
He is also the Secretary General of Bangladesh Human Rights Foundation and Founder & Trustee of Alvina Samdani Trust & Taher Ahmed Choudhury Charitable Hospital (TACCH).[5] He is also the director of The City Bank Limited.[6]
Personal life
He is married to Nadia Samdani,[7] a British born Bangladeshi. The Samdanis are organising Bangladesh’s first ever art fair. The collector couple[8] is well known for their local and international art collection [9] [10], as well as their Bengal school and Tagore collection.[11][12]
