Computer Economics [1] is an IT research firm focusing on the strategic and financial management of information systems. It was founded in 1978 and is currently headquartered in Irvine, California, USA. Clients include major IT organizations, large consulting firms, and financial services firms in North America and over 70 countries. Publications include the Computer Economics Report, the annual Information Systems Spending and Technology Trends study, and special reports on staffing and salary trends, IT security, malware, and other topics.
