VisualCron is a automation tool and task scheduler/job scheduler for Windows.
Automate common Tasks
- execute files with advanced properties
- encrypt/decrypt files using Open PGP standard
- compress/decompress files using zip,gzip,bzip,tar
- copy/Read/Write/Touch files
- Create/Read/Edit XML files
- transfer files through common protocols like FTP/FTPS/SFTP/HTTP
- perform SQL queries, stored procedure calls, DTS/SSIS package execution
- perform operations against Active Directory
- perform operations against Exchange Server
- send Email (encrypted or not) together with attachments
- perform Registry operations
- print documents (Microsoft Word, PDF, etc.)
- put servers in Hibernate/Standby
- restart/Wake up servers
Client/Server architecture
VisualCron uses a Client/Server architecture. The Server is a Windows service running in the background. The Client can connect locally and remotely across the network/Internet.
