robotDNA is an award winning animation studio founded in 1987.

History

In 1987 robotDNA was founded as Garner MacLennan Design. Focussing its creative energy on digital design, animation and visual effects for television, the company grew rapidly - as did its reputation. Achievements including BDA and Promax awards for broadcast design and commercials such as a CLIO Award-winning Dr Pepper spot, firmly established GMD's international credentials.

GMD became the Asia-Pacific Region's most diverse digital media company. Capitalising on its skills in animation, design and interactive media, GMD was quick to embrace the challenge of converging digital technology for marketing, i-entertainment and i-business.

As a result, GMD had developed a big expertise in interactive database marketing, digital television, webTV, broadband communications as well as cutting edge digital applications for film and television. GMD re-structured itself as robotDNA in 2004.
