Green background

Can someone add a note on the green background? -DePiep (talk) 09:19, 3 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The characters with a green background are the only jamo that can combine to form a Hangul syllable under normalization form NFC (and conversely any Hangul syllable character can only decompose under NFD to a sequence of 2 or 3 green-background jamo).
