V. Adimurthy is the Satish Dhawan Professor and Dean of Research at the Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST).[1] Prior to joining IIST, he held the post of Associate Director at the Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre, a major facility center of Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO).[2] He is known for his contributions to the rocket technology and space dynamics.[3] He is a recipient of Padma Shri form the Government of India.[4]
