Copyright investigations (manual article tagging)
[edit]
  • No, not until all the article is cleaned and maybe not then, depending on the balance of weight of content. You have to weigh the benefit of revision deletion against the benefit of retaining an easily reviewable history. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 21:01, 16 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • I think the benefits of revision deletion would outweigh the disadvantages of losing access to the article history. The odds of copying or reverse infringement in the future are high, and it'll be much easier to investigate if we can keep the history. My opinion will change, i'm sure, if people start restoring the old content. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 15:38, 22 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • Speedy deleted 16 January 2012 for copyvio
  • Article cleaned by investigator or others. No remaining infringement. Apparently an issue about an external link to pirated source code, not the actual article text. Link removed by another editor shortly after the original report was filed. Voceditenore (talk) 09:15, 17 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
