Discrepency between this article, and the article on the CDF?

According to the first formula in the article on the cumulative distribution function, it is possible for t < 1, which makes the definition of F(t) given here unusable. I'm sure this has everything to do with my limited understanding of the issues at hand but I can't see a different interpretation.84.84.158.227 (talk) 13:26, 9 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
