Company History
Cardno Limited originally evolved from an engineering practice known as Cardno & Davies established in 1945 in Queensland, Australia. The company originally provided civil engineering consulting services and worked largely with clientele on the development of Queensland infrastructure. Cardno & Davies merged with companies McMillan and Britton & Kell Pty Ltd to form Cardno MBK in 1999. The company has continued to grow by acquiring complimentary businesses based on their professional disciplines and geographic locations.
Projects
Water Resources Management
Cardno Entrix has been engaged in the planning of maintainable and cost effective water supplies for over 25 years. They deal with the extraction, storage, transportation, use, and conservation of water supplies for public, industrial, and agricultural use. Clients can expect to work with a team of experienced engineers, hydrologists, and economists to determine the feasibility of potential options. Some notable projects include the San Clemente Dam in California, statewide surface water monitoring in Florida, and water withdrawal and inter-basin transfer in North Carolina.
Natural Resources Management
