Projects
Water Resources Management
Cardno Entrix has been engaged in the planning of maintainable and cost effective water supplies for over 25 years. They deal with the extraction, storage, transportation, use, and conservation of water supplies for public, industrial, and agricultural use. Clients can expect to work with a team of experienced engineers, hydrologists, and economists to determine the feasibility of potential options. Some notable projects include the San Clemente Dam in California, statewide surface water monitoring in Florida, and water withdrawal and inter-basin transfer in North Carolina.
Natural Resources Management
The Cardno Entrix team believes that natural resources are among our most valuable assets, and provides a number of services to help utilize and protect these resources. Scientists from many different disciplines work together to evaluate each project and meet client goals while minimizing any negative long term impact on the environment. Some services they provide include invasive species management, habitat banking and restoration, Endangered Species Act services, wetland assessment, and biological assessment services.
Permitting and Compliance
Cardno Entrix works with clients to help decipher legislative constraints and make sure projects will comply with regulations and can also be completed in a costly and timely manner. This includes the preparation of the appropriate legal documentation such as permits, licenses, and certifications at the local and federal level. Cardno understands that environmental projects are often subject to intense scrutiny by government and private regulators, so it is important to make sure you follow all regulations and have the documentation to back it up. Services include Endangered Species Act compliance, Clean Air and Water Act compliance, facility siting, permitting and licensing, and National Environmental Policy Act compliance.
