I can only barely tell what this means, and I suggest it needs to be re-written or cut: "In the older literature and in the field of databases, it seems that there has been little consideration for the context in which roles interplay with each other. Such a context is being established in newer role- and aspect-oriented programming languages such as Object Teams."

I think the substantive content is something like "Thinking in terms of Roles or Aspects arose only recently in the context of object-oriented programing".

The non-substantive content is: databases==old! databases==bad!
