Symbian^3 (vocalised as "Symbian three") or series 60 version 5.2 or symbian OS version 9.5, is a version of Symbian mobile operating system (OS), announced on 15 February 2010. It firstly appeared on a Nokia N8. It was designed to be a more ‘next generation’ smartphone platform. The Symbian^3 release introduced new features like a new 2D and 3D graphics architecture, UI improvements, and support for external displays via HDMI. It has single tap menus and up to three customizable homescreens. The Symbian^3 SDK (Software Development Kit) was released September 2010.

Symbian^3 has two major updates. Symbian Anna released by Nokia in April 2010, and the Symbian Belle launched on August 24, 2011.
