Later versions
The lazy versions (of which the first was the ICL/Imperial College version Hope+, I believe) had many more changes than just laziness. Real (floating point) arithmetic, array types, annotations to force argument evaluation before demand despite the laziness, and more (I can't remember what else - for example I seem to remember we changed the pattern matching rules, but don't recall exactly how).
