The "Dig" Allen, Space Explorer series consists of six science fiction books in the juvenile literature genre, written in the late 1950s and early 1960s by Joseph Greene, originator of the highly-popular 1950–55 CBS-TV series Tom Corbett, Space Cadet.

As with Greene's earlier creation, the "Dig" Allen books feature adventures of intrepid adolescent boys on various planets in the Solar System. The hero of the series is Digby "Dig" Allen and the plots center around the asteroid Eros, which is discovered to be an immense alien spaceship. In each book of the series, Dig Allen embarks upon adventurous interplanetary voyages and foils nefarious schemes. The "Dig" Allen books are:

  1. The Forgotten Star (1959)
  2. Captives in Space (1960)
  3. Journey to Jupiter (1961)
  4. Trappers of Venus (1961)
  5. Robots of Saturn (1962)
  6. Lost City of Uranus (1962)
