Hi. Thank you for your help with the vital work of patrolling new pages. I noticed that you are not marking some of the pages you've reviewed as patrolled. Please do remember to click the 'mark this page as patrolled' link at the bottom of the new page if you have performed the standard patrolling tasks. Where appropriate, doing so saves time and work by informing fellow patrollers of your review of the page, so that they do not duplicate efforts. Thanks again for volunteering your time at the new pages patrol project. →Στc. 05:45, 18 October 2011 (UTC)
- OK, didn't know about that, thanks! Angry Python (talk) 05:50, 18 October 2011 (UTC)
Of tongues and drums...
Thank you for finding the right redirect (finally!) for Tongue drum. When I came across the article I thought it sounded as though it was describing something remarkably like a slit drum; I should have just made it a redirect there myself and saved you the trouble. Cheers, Yunshui (talk) 22:30, 19 October 2011 (UTC)
- No problem! There's far too much work to do here, so we share it out. :-) Cheers, Angry Python (talk) 22:32, 19 October 2011 (UTC)
Quick Question
Hi. I noticed your report at UAA and looked through some of your recent contributions. Have you ever edited Wikipedia before? I saw that you were making edits not generally common to new users, including using Twinkle and fixing double redirects. TNXMan 14:18, 20 October 2011 (UTC)
- Yes, I edited a while back under another account, and have also done a fair bit of anonymous editing. Angry Python (talk) 18:08, 20 October 2011 (UTC)
On Dr. Binkley's Philosophy ...
Hello AngryPython -
Re: /* Timothy Binkley */ Responded to AngryPython's questions and gave a different link illustrating a citation of Dr. Binkley's ideas.
Please forgive, I am new at this. Dr. Binkley uses the term "metamedium," which is relevantly similar to McLuhan's "metamedia." I was not sure how to give citations and cross-reference this point ... as you are right! No one mentions the two together that I have found. Consequently, I searched for pieces in which both McLuhan and Binkley's ideas were discussed in the context of "metamedia" or "digital media" or the more esoteric "metamedium."
And you are correct Wechsler and Traub refer to Binkley's work without mentioning his name in the article. References to his writings appear in the footnotes (3 for Wechsler, 1 for Traub). I am sorry if I misunderstood how to do wikipedia citations correctly.
Here is a link to Elizabeth Bell's Book, "Theories of Performance," showing her mention of Dr. Binkley's ideas. http://books.google.com/books?id=Qb9wZsoJw3YC&lpg=PT277&ots=sys1Jw6KPL&dq=Timothy%20Binkley%20Marshall%20McLuhan&pg=PT277#v=onepage&q=Timothy%20Binkley%20Marshall%20McLuhan&f=false
True, it is not the best citation for the points concerning Dr. Binkley's philosophy.
I have removed all references for the moment. And I DO appreciate your guidance as I am a novice here and wish to learn how to maintain the high standards of credibility.
Thanks for your patience with me, AngryPython, and for helping correct my "bads." — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sonyashannon (talk • contribs) 22:44, 20 October 2011 (UTC)
- Welcome, and thanks very much indeed for creating the article. No "bads" that I can see! You're doing great. If I can help in any way to improve the article, just ask. Thanks, Angry Python (talk) 08:54, 21 October 2011 (UTC)
The Edward & Rodney Show
Excuse me, I'm sorry for creating The Edward & Rodney Show page on Wikipedia, but this is a fanfiction series that I made. EdtheRatchetHD (talk) 05:11, 23 October 2011 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by EdtheRatchetHD (talk • contribs)
- The problem with the article is that it doesn't assert notability per WP:WEB. Please also have a read of WP:Conflict of interest, and wait for someone not connected with your series to write an article about it. Thanks, Angry Python (talk) 05:15, 23 October 2011 (UTC)

New Page Patrolling
HI. I notice that you tagged the article Oscar Kawagley as requiring more sources. This is an unsourced BLP. All unsourced BLPs since March 2010 should be tagged with the WP:BLPPROD template. Happy patrolling! --Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 07:14, 23 October 2011 (UTC)

--ChrisRidout (talk) 15:35, 24 October 2011 (UTC)
- I could userfy it, but until copyright is sorted out it wil get deleted there too. I strongly suggest that you read WP:Conflict of interest, and wait for someone not connected with your employer to write an article about him. Thanks, Angry Python (talk) 16:04, 24 October 2011 (UTC)
