Talk:International Conference on Pattern Recognition in Bioinformatics
I'm wondering why it's removed again and again. PRIB is a conference started from 2004, it has published more than 300 high-standard papers, and it's TC20 of IAPR. I don't think it couldn't be listed in computational biology conference. Some words such as "pattern recognition" and "bioinformatics" are unvoidable in the introduction part. I think I have explained that the 'prib2011' are also our conference page, and it's listed in the reference. Then, I really don't know why it couldn't be listed in computational biology conference. Could you please check the page again? if there's no copyright problem, could you please reserve the page in computational biology conference list? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Lwtwhu (talk • contribs)
- How many times do I have to tell you: you need Reliable sources. Things that have been written about the conference by people who are not its organizers and sponsors and that have been published by a publisher independent of the conference and its organizers. The lack of reliable sources is the primary reason that it has been repeatedly removed from the list of conference pages, and it is also the biggest flaw (and the most likely reason for potential deletion) with this article as well. I've written this in the edit comments when I've removed this conference from the list, and I've written it in your user talk page, so I don't know why you seem to be hoping for a different answer by asking again here. —David Eppstein (talk) 15:16, 18 October 2011 (UTC)
