Perfect numbers

In mathematics, a perfect number is a non-prime number that is equal to the sum of its divisors.
6 is a perfect number, its divisors being 3,2 and 1; with 3 + 2 + 1 = 6. 28 is also a perfect number.
The first eight perfect numbers are: 6, 28, 496, 8128, 33550336, 8589869056, 8589869056, and 2305843008139952128.
The first three perfect numbers were known to Euclid, but it was not until the advent of computers that we were able to find more such perfect numbers.
There are no known odd perfect numbers.
