The Adel Al-Jubeir assassination plot was an Iranian-backed assassination plot and bomb plot against Saudi Arabian ambassador Adel Al-Jubeir. Other targets included the Saudi embassy and Israeli embassy in Washington, D.C., as well as the counterpart embassies in Buenos Aires, Argentina.[1] The perpetrators included Manssor Arbabsiar and Gohlam Shakuri. Arbabsiar was arrested on September 29, 2011, at the John F. Kennedy International Airport in Queens, New York City, while Shakuri remains at large.[2]
