Adobe Content Server is DRM software used to add digital rights management to eBooks and developed by Adobe Systems. It is designed to "protect" and distribute Adobe eBooks in PDF or EPUB format through Adobe Digital Editions.[1] Adobe Content Server also works in junction with ADEPT[2], Adobe's digital rights management scheme.

The documentation, code quality and support of the product is severely lacking making installation very challenging and integration with non-Java based technologies next to impossible. Generally the product feels unfinished and unsupported.
