Android Privacy Guard (APG) is a Free Software application that runs on the Android Operating System. The application provides strong, user based encryption that is compatible with the Pretty Good Privacy (PGP) and GNU Privacy Guard (GPG) programs. This allows users to encrypt, decrypt, sign, and verify signatures for text, emails, and files. This allows for secure interchanging of these items with users of PGP or GPG as well as other users of APG.
The program allows you to store the credentials of other users that you frequently interact with. Then to encrypt a file so that only that user can open it. In the same manner, if a file is received from another user that you already have stored credentials for, you can verify the authenticity of that file (and decrypt it if necessary).
