The Design and Technology Academy (DATA) is located on the campus of Theodore Roosevelt High School in the North East Independent School District in San Antonio, Texas. It opened in the fall semester of 1999 for the 1999-2000 school year (with its first graduating class in 2002, and first full-four year graduating class in 2003). DATA is a magnet school that specializes in designing the future through: engineering, architecture, web/graphic design, programming and multimedia.
Participation
DATA students have a high level of participation in Extra-curicurlar activities on campus. These include almost every club and organization on campus. DATA students frequently head the organizations.
