deleted/redirected to IDE

No citations added since notice in 2008: SDE is not a widely used term, and the existing page (sentence & list or related tools) was not up to scratch and lacked citations.

  • SDE note on IDE page expanded to diambiguate SDE from IDE
  • Redirect added
  • content moved to IDE page
  • IDE 'See also section has related tools'

If a more substantial description of an SDE can be drafted, I'd welcome its recreation. It should include:

  • a longer description of a SDE and how it fits in to the broader operations of a software house.
  • Why you set up an SDE
  • How (best practice i.e. automated builds/testing)
  • example configurations ranging from a 'one person shop', to SDE configurations for large or distributed teams.

It MUST include citations.
