I am finding I have way too much stuff to keep track of these days. Surely a fellow with 8 arms should be able to handle a lot? Sharktopus talk 11:22, 8 July 2011 (UTC)
Articles I'm interested in, not yet at T:DYK
- Linnaeus Hammarby (created July 1 but still very short)
- Marcgravia evenia interesting vine mentioned by NYT July 29, somebody else created article but it is still v. short.
- Cotesia vestalis interesting parasitoid wasp that is attracted to heavy infestations of its host caterpillar and may or may not benefit superparasitism due to its odd system of creating (or not) male offspring
- Superparasitism just a stub by somebody else, very interesting topic.
Articles I'm working on, unlikely to go to DYK
- Paederus dermatitis and Blister beetle dermatitis A confusing situation. 2 different beetle groups, 2 different vesicant toxins that create similar dermatitis. Also I have filed a merge request for Nairobi fly dermatitis, a variant of P. dermatitis.
Articles already suggested and waiting at T:DYK
- Paederus created July 28
- Paul Speratus (created July 26, at Gerda's suggestion taking to DYK)(nommed July 30)
- First Lutheran hymnal (created July 28, at Gerda's suggestion taking to DYK)
- Es ist das Heil uns kommen her started by Gerda but I also worked on it
Articles I reviewed for DYK
Lots that I'm not listing here, of course — here I am just listing articles I reviewed and did not yet "use up" for a DYK nomination. Sharktopus talk 12:55, 8 July 2011 (UTC)
- Typhula quisquiliaris http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Template_talk:Did_you_know/Typhula_quisquiliaris&diff=prev&oldid=442606960
- Guillaume Rondelet http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Template_talk:Did_you_know/Guillaume_Rondelet&diff=prev&oldid=442933102
- Acer douglasense http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Template_talk:Did_you_know/Acer_douglasense&diff=prev&oldid=443123345
- also did some work/made hook suggestions on Sarah Dixon (sternwheeler), Duff Cooley
Topic areas where I want to create an article but didn't yet
- Herbatio Upsaliensis
- List of places related to Linnaeus (I hope I think of a better title, though.)
- List of species described by Linnaeus as ''nobilis'' The Latin word "nobilis" can mean either "noble" or "well-known." Linnaeus used it for many different species.
Been there done that
