Wikipedia is the encyclopedia you can [edit]

Wikipedia has been entirely created by people like you: volunteers from all over the world contribute to writing, improving and maintaining articles, creating a massive compilation of information which can be used by everyone, everywhere, free of charge. Some may contribute a little -- fixing a spelling error or grammatical mistake in an article, adding a sentence here or correcting one there -- while others may spend considerable time developing articles, finding and adding free images, or helping to create the policies and guidelines that govern content. Whether contributing a little or a lot, volunteers are the lifeblood of Wikipedia.
