I'm just adding notes in the history section. Perhaps the history section should go in its own page.


On the contrary; I think the history is quite helpful. I would like to see it up-to-date; there's at least 7 years in there that need to be added.

Need a general Java Platform page

Now we have Groovy it would be very useful to point to a summary article like the Java section in the Sun Microsystems page. I'll make the same comment on the Java programming language page. User:webmink


I am not sure why we need a history of Java in Java platform article. Webmink is right. We need some article that covers Java platform not just a platform for Java programming language but one for Groovy, Pizza, gj and
