What is gained by sorting the population by the value of the fitness function? Molinari 01:07, 29 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Don't you pick individuals and at the same time you accumulate fitness. And when the accumulated fitness exceeds R it stops? That's atleast what I have learned :)
