Sy.Med Development, Inc. develops and licenses software solutions that simplify credentialing-related tasks for healthcare providers and payers. Sy.Med’s software, OneApp Pro, uses a data management system and automates form completion to decrease the time required in the credentialing process.

Company History

Established in 1995, Sy.Med has been in business for over 15 years. The company serves over 725 organizations and over 200,000 providers (physicians, allied health professionals, and physician extenders) in 49 states and has clients in the United States, Canada, and India.[1]

Software History

  • In 2003, Sy.Med released the ExportTool, which integrates with Microsoft Office to allow advanced data export capabilities.
  • In 2004, Sy.Med launched OneApp Pro 4.0, which included AuditTrail to track all changes made to the database.
  • In 2004, Sy.Med also released a Privileges tool, which manages providers' core privileges.
  • In 2009, Sy.Med launched OneApp Pro 5.2. This included OneApp Facility, a complete facility credentialing suite of screens and tools.
  • In 2009, Sy.Med later released NotiPhy, a tool that facilitates automated emails to providers based on expiration alerts.
  • In 2009, Sy.Med launched OneApp Web and NoPen, browser-based versions of OneApp Pro 5.3 utilizing Microsoft® Silverlight® technology.
  • In 2010, Sy.Med launched OneApp Pro 6.1 with a Contract Management tool, which tracks the details of payer contracts.
  • In 2010, Sy.Med also released CAQH Integration in OneApp Pro 6.1, which allows healthcare organizations to import data into OneApp Pro from CAQH.

At this level you have the opportunity to build the closest working relationship with Microsoft, and are guaranteed, at minimum, telephone-based account engagement from Microsoft, along with other top-level benefits such as a priority listing in the Microsoft Resource Directory. Gold Certified Partners are required to enroll in at least one Microsoft Competency.[2]
