I wish we could list all the data modeling tools on this page and it also provide brief comparison to make user easier to find what is needed.

Some consideration is to change column layout of the table to include something like

  • Supported OS
  • Supported database system
  • Forward/reverse engineering support or not
  • data warehouse design support
  • and so on.

MySQL Workbench

Shouldn't MySQL Workbench also be on here? I'd add it except the myriad of similar-sounding terms in Db systems confuses me to the point that I no longer can differentiate between them. Jason Quinn (talk) 06:27, 16 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

pgDesigner

It seems like pgDesigner is also missing. Jason Quinn (talk) 12:21, 5 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Other missing tools

  • Embarcadero
  • Erwin
  • Sparx enterprise architect
  • MS Visio
