split of Category:Quebec MP stubs
Oversized and with at least two ways to split based on other precedants I'll offer both up and see which we prefer. Either a split by dob

I am proposing a speedy creation stub (if that's how you phrase it) for Australian ports, docks and marinas. It fits because it is nationwide and... yeah, see S2. This stub can fit under so many like Akuna Bay, New South Wales, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bundaberg_Port, rowra Waters, New South Wales]], Challenger Harbour, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fremantle_Fishing_Boat_Harbour, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hillarys_Boat_Harbour, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nelson_Bay,_New_South_Wales, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Two_Rocks,_Western_Australia and most of them under http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_ports_in_Australia. Please create.
- Oppose. This isn't a speedy, because there aren't 60 stubs for it. There aren't 60 articles in the parent permcat - for the very good reason that there is no permcat (which makes the creation of a stub type questionable in itself). In any case, the articles are almost certainly better sorted by their respective geo types, especially since several of the ones you list cover not only the ports themselves but the towns or suburbs which surround them. Grutness...wha? 01:47, 31 May 2011 (UTC)
Oversized and two templates are over the 60 mark so propose the following
- {{Czechoslovakia-footy-competition-stub}} - Category:Czechoslovak football competition stubs
- {{USSR-footy-competition-stub}} - Category:Soviet football competition stubs
Speedy? Waacstats (talk) 22:37, 29 May 2011 (UTC)
- Only problem with the USSR one is that it makes Category:Soviet sport stubs undersized. SeveroTC 11:08, 31 May 2011 (UTC)
Martinique stubs
I was quite surprised to discover that there's no {{Martinique-bio-stub}}, even though there's a need for it (and other French overseas territories are so covered); furthermore, I think we could do well to create {{Martinique-politician-stub}}, as there is a new user creating a spate of French overseas politicians stubs. Think it'll work? --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 07:36, 29 May 2011 (UTC)
- Sounds good to me. Waacstats (talk) 08:41, 29 May 2011 (UTC)
Oversized propose the usual split
- {{Portugal-footy-goalkeeper-stub}} - Category:Portuguese football goalkeeper stubs
- {{Portugal-footy-defender-stub}} - Category:Portuguese football defender stubs
- {{Portugal-footy-midfielder-stub}} - Category:Portuguese football midfielder stubs
- {{Portugal-footy-forward-stub}} - Category:Portuguese football forward stubs
categories iff they pass 60. Waacstats (talk) 10:14, 26 May 2011 (UTC)
Permcat: Category:Micronoctuidae. Catscan shows 261 articles. Dawynn (talk) 18:08, 25 May 2011 (UTC)
{{Monument-stub}}?
While it is true that Category:Sculpture stubs doesn't yet need splitting (and has quite a number of sculptor articles in it which shouldn't be there, I think a separate stub for monuments and memorials would be useful and would almost certainly get to the threshold for a separate category (Category:Monument and memorial stubs). A quick coulty shows that over 450 of the current sculpture stubs have either the word "monument" or "memorial" as part of their name, and it's likely that many others in the category would qualify for this proposed stub type. Grutness...wha? 01:48, 25 May 2011 (UTC)
- I'm not 100% convinced by the template name, the reason being that in the Netherlands the equivalent of a graded property or NRHP is called a reiksmonument often shortened to monument so things could get confusing. I dont think {{memorial-stub}} would be much better either and putting both in there would be unecessarily large template name. Waacstats (talk) 09:21, 26 May 2011 (UTC)
- What about creating a stub tag for the latter titled {{Rijksmonument-stub}}? (Apologies if I've got the spelling wrong). I think a monument stub tag would be a great help, yes. --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 13:35, 26 May 2011 (UTC)

Category:Richmond County, Virginia geography stubs mess; split?
The template for the stub (Template:RichmondVA-geo-stub), when compared to the category it links to, has resulted in a geographically inaccurate goof. Richmond, Virginia refers to an the independent capital city in the central part of the state, whereas Richmond County, Virginia is an unrelated rural county located a good distance away (see the leads of both articles for more to back that up). Thus the template used refers to the city, whereas the category refers to the county, and the articles marked with it are a jumbled mess of both. Please advise! Morgan Riley (talk) 22:01, 19 May 2011 (UTC)
- Those related to Richmond city should use {{RichmondCityVA-geo-stub}} so the template needs ammending and the articles relating to the city need moving. Waacstats (talk) 19:59, 20 May 2011 (UTC)
Country-level restaurant templates
As mentioned in a recent discussion at WT:WSS, there are currently only a handful of countries with their own restaurant-stub subtypes. I think we at the very least need to add a few of the major ones. The following would each be used on more than half a dozen stubs:
- {{Australia-restaurant-stub}}
- {{Belgium-restaurant-stub}}
- {{PRChina-restaurant-stub}}
- {{Germany-restaurant-stub}}
- {{India-restaurant-stub}}
- {{Ireland-restaurant-stub}}
- {{Italy-restaurant-stub}}
- {{Japan-restaurant-stub}}
A generic {{Europe-restaurant-stub}} might be useful as well, since there are a large number of countries in Europe with three or four stubs. Grutness...wha? 01:10, 13 May 2011 (UTC)
Country-level European rail stations
This is a second stub proposal for this title to the existing one in wikipedia. I will supply the article for the new definition. From: emazoff. 15:25, 9 May 2011
- Which articles would this template be used on? Is there a category containing them? SeveroTC 18:18, 9 May 2011 (UTC)

Proposed Music Genre Stubs
There are many stubs that should be created, but aren't. Examples:
- Template:Punk-stub Punk rock stub
- Rock music stub
- Template:Grunge-stub Grunge music stub
- Template:Rock 'n' Roll-stub Rock 'n' Roll music stub
- Template:Techno-stub Techno music stub
- Template:Alternative-stub Alternative rock stub
Those are just some I would love to see created. Logan The Master (talk) 18:45, 18 May 2011 (UTC)
- While I have no problem with most of these concepts, I would suggest some different names:
- {{punkmusic-stub}} for Punk rock stubs. (Note: already exists)
- {{rock-music-stub}}. Just so geologists don't take over your template.
- {{grunge-music-stub}}. Keeping it tied to music, in case there are any questions.
{{Rock 'n' Roll-stub}}- We don't allow spaces in template names.
- In many minds, this is synonomous with rock music, as admitted by article Rock and roll. Keeping the two separate would be a nightmare. Especially since...
- There is no permcat for rock and roll. Even article Rock and roll is satisfied with attaching to both Category:Rock music and Category:Pop music.
- {{techno-music-stub}}. So people don't think its an abbreviated template for Category:Technology stubs.
- {{alt-rock-music-stub}}. Helps tie to other templates like {{Alt-rock-album-stub}}, and again -- keeps the geologists away.
