Open security

This is an old revision of this page, as edited by Disavian (talk | contribs) at 20:47, 30 May 2011 (you know what, I don't really like that paragraph at all). The present address (URL) is a permanent link to this revision, which may differ significantly from the current revision.

Open security is an initiative to tackle mounting software security challenges. It is based on the premise that any malware, including viruses, spamware, trogen, rootkits, worms, etc. share the same fundamental characteristic, that is, to conceal its identity and intention (also known as security through obscurity). On the other hand, legitimate software providers have every intention to tell the world that their software will not harm customers in any means.
