Road and Transport MMP

Road and Transport Mission Mode Project (MMP) is one of the 27 Mission Mode Projects [1] of the National e-Governance Plan. Under this project, RTOs computerization is to be carried out at approximately 1000 RTOs. Data has to be consolidated at State Level through State Registers and at National Level through National Registers and RTOs are to be connected to each other and to these Registers. The outcome of this activity would be the improved efficiency of the RTOs and the ability to provide online services. Vehicle registration (VR) services that are to be provided including submitting of online application for new license, selecting date for driving skill test, online payment of license related fees. Driving license(DL) services that are to be provided online including payment of registration related fees, clearance certificate, and ownership transfer.
