Open Virtualization Alliance

The Open Virtualization Alliance (OVA) is an organization formed by Red Hat and IBM to promote KVM as an alternative to VMware's virtualization platform. Since its formation, five other organizations has joined the OVA, inlcuding Hewlett-Packard, BMC Software, Eucalyptus, and SUSE Linux.[1] The OVA may also enhance consistency across KVM implementations.[2]
