Saturday Edition is a radio programme on Newstalk 106 -108 FM. The show is presented by Brendan O' Brien and is goes out live every Saturday morning between 8 and 10am and is repeated on Saturday night.

The show is a fast paced show consisting of a paper review, "People's Hour" and a political review, amongst others.

The Format

The show starts at 8am with Brendan O' Brien reading out newspaper headlines, getting reaction from studio guests, as well as taking calls from around the world on the weeks biggest stories. 8 - 9am on the show has been dubbed "People's Hour" in which O' Brien talks to the listeners, getting their response from vox pops carried out by the shows reporter. The Political Review commences at 9am. O' Brien is joined by political figures to discuss the latest happenings from the world of politics. Regulars on this slot include Minister Dick Roche, Senator Dan Boyle, Mary Lou McDonald, Lucinda Creighton, Joan Burton and Leo Veradkar.
