Brattnipane Peaks is a group of peaks, the highest 2,660 m, standing 9 nautical miles (17 km) northwest of Mefjell Mountain in the Sor Rondane Mountains. Mapped by Norwegian cartographers in 1946 from air photos taken by the Lars Christensen Expedition, 1936–37, and in 1957 in greater detail from air photos taken by U.S. Navy Operation Highjump, 1946-47. Named Brattnipane (the steep peaks) by the Norwegians.
