Java Road (渣華道) is a main road in North Point on the Hong Kong Island of Hong Kong. Its spans from Fortress Hill and Quarry Bay. It starts west from the junction with Electric Road and Tin Chong Street and ends east at King's Road near Hong Kong Funeral Home.

History

The road is named after 爪哇輪船公司 (Java Ferry Company) which named an island Java in Indonesia. The company provides sea routes between Hong Kong, Shanghai, Jakarta, Bandung, Surabaya and others. In 1933, the road was completed. In the early days, the Chinese name of the road is 爪哇道, it is later changed to a better translation of 渣華道.
