Wikipedia:WikiProject Architecture/Categories
A category scheme is developed on this WikiProject to organize the wealth of information on the subject that is spread all over Wikipedia and sister sites. Wiki reference documents recommend "categorizing articles in the most specific subcategory" (next to similar articles), rather than over-populating the "Architecture" category.
Overview
The best overview offers the CategoryTree utility (requires java). You can surf through the categories and easily orientate yourself.
These are the main categories, currently (Mar 2006) developed by the project. On the long termn this scheme could be established and all other articles and categories should fit in to this scheme. The Scheme can be discussed on the talk page.
