Vflo
I would like to add Vflo™ to this list. Vflo™ is physics-based distributed hydrologic modeling software that simulates continuous and short-term surface water runoff. Thanks for your consideration. Ar2285 (talk) 16:36, 23 March 2010 (UTC)
External links
There's a tremendous amount of external links and redlinks in this list; unless sources can be provided I'm not sure this meets WP:V. Please re-add them when an article has been created, or there's a reliable source we can use. Kuru talk 19:29, 18 January 2009 (UTC)
There should be a dispute, here. How come our open source link to Tortuga has been removed? I saw various references to "link farms" and "self-promotion links" - so what? Is not the name of the page "List of computer simulation software" ?? Aren't there supposed to be links to computer simulation software? What do you mean, "reliable source" ? Our project, the Tortuga DES, had a link to the homepage, examples, documentation, and source code. I think that qualifies - do you want me to get Microsoft to endorse it before you'll treat it as "valid" ?
Why would you remove every link that doesn't have their own wikipedia page? That hardly makes sense. Our homepage with all of the descriptive info lives permanently at another URL, and I am sure that is true for others. Besides, the last time I added a page about a piece of software, TUFDefender, it was removed by an administrator as "patent nonsense" and "self-promotional."
You really need to decide what you want out of a page called "List of...." - DUH, how about a list?!
- See WP:EL, WP:SPAM, WP:NOTLINK, and WP:LIST to start. --Ronz (talk) 18:02, 21 February 2009 (UTC)
EICASLAB
Dear Sirs, I would like to add a reference to the EICASLAB article in the section related to commercial computer simulation software. EICASLAB is a suite of tools devoted to the design of control system architectures, including specific features for plant and control simulation. I specify that I have seen that the EICASLAB article has been marked as orphaned so I am working for helping in de-orphaning it. Let me know if I can add such a reference. Thank you so much for your help. Caporaletti (talk) 13:31, 17 February 2009 (UTC)
FEA
I think Code_Aster should be included in the open source section and ABAQUS in the other section 130.88.117.216 (talk) 13:59, 22 April 2009 (UTC)
Plant Simulation
Added Tecnomatix Plant Simulation software, a product of the Siemens Product Lifecycle Management division. Standard commercial discrete event simulator. Leading tool in Europe in the automotive industry. Enables the simulation and optimization of production systems and processes. Plant Simulation article has to be added. 213.70.98.66 (talk) 17:19, 27 August 2009 (UTC)
OpenPowerNet
I would like to add OpenPowerNet as a simulation software for electrical railway power supply systems. Unfortunately I have only an "exernal" linke. http://www.openpowernet.de. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.116.21.90 (talk) 11:01, 3 July 2010 (UTC)
PottersWheel
Dear all, I would like to link PottersWheel, a software to calibrate parameters of chemical reaction networks or differential equation based models. The software is free for educational and academic usage, but not open source. Maybe a section "Free software" should be included? WikiUser853 (talk) 15:21, 12 April 2011 (UTC)
