Wikipedia:WikiProject Computing/Computer networking task force

This is just the boilerplate text to help in creating a new WikiProject. To use it, you would type {{WikiProject}} on a new page (Wikipedia:WikiProject Foo), where Foo is the subject of the new WikiProject. Then, after saving the new page for the Foo WikiProject, you need to edit the page again. You should remove this explanatory text and also delete any unnecessary sections. Finally, you need to customize the new WikiProject page by adding information specific to your new WikiProject. For some sections you will see HTML embedded comments (e.g.) when you edit the page that will help explain each section to help in filling them.

Some Wikipedians have formed a project to better organize information in articles related to Computer networking. This page and its subpages contain their suggestions; it is hoped that this project will help to focus the efforts of other Wikipedians. Adopt an article

Similar to the Collaboration of the week, but on a smaller scale, you might want to "adopt" an article. This would involve doing the research, writing, and picture-taking (if possible) for either a non-existent article or a stub. Of course, everyone else can still edit an adopted article, and you can work on other things too, but the idea is to find a focus for a while, to try and build up the number of quality articles the Project has produced.
