Recife Center for Advanced Studies and Systems, or C.E.S.A.R (which is an abbreviation for its corresponding Portuguese name), is a Brazilian Research, Development and Innovation institute located in the state of Pernambuco|[citation needed]. Founded in 1996, C.E.S.A.R currently has more than 600 employees, and is the most important[neutrality is disputed] component of Porto Digital.
