Virtual Human Resource Development Virtual Human Resource Development (Virtual HRD) is a nascent area of inquiry in the field of HRD and acknowledges the effect that sophisticated Web 2.0 technologies are having on the research and practice of HRD (McWhorter, 2010; Short, 2010).
