Dutch Design Week
Dutch Design Week is a renowned nine-day international design festival held in the Netherlands. Over 1,800 designers present unparalleled ideas, individualistic works and insightful designer solutions. DDW is a platform for innovation and inspiration with a sophisticated blend of fresh talent, successful designers and established bureaus. Providing a comprehensive overview of all aspects of design, from the conceptual stage to the high-profile product. In cooperation with our guest curators, DDW offers a balanced and inspiring event. Dutch Design Week targets designers, companies and educational institutes alongside the public at large. More than 150,000 visitors from home and abroad visit 360 exhibitions, workshops, lectures, seminars, award ceremonies, food and parties across 65 locations throughout the city of Eindhoven. DDW is a broadly oriented event where all different aspects of design are examined: from industrial design to graphic design, from textile and fashion to architecture, from sustainable design, to design management and trends. In 2011 Dutch Design Week celebrates its 10th anniversary.
