Rebecca Black - "Friday" YT View Count

Michael - Can we agree that a view count of 18 Million, as cited in the OK Magazine-Seacrest article, is a fair approximation of the number for the one-week period (Friday, Mar 11 at about 1 PM, GMT -5 / aka 'Eastern Daylight Time', when the Tosh.0 blog was posted, through to Friday the 18th)? The OK article has a publish date of 3/19 (Saturday), and the count was updated in that context. I don't see any point in indiscriminately updating the view count to its current value (even IF sourced), when one can just go to YouTube to see the number. Putting a set time frame - with an ending point - on the count better demonstrates the rapid gain in 'popularity' of the song. (And Rebecca, herself, Tweeted 'Thanks to all for the 18 million views.' on Friday night) --Chachap (talk) 02:43, 20 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
