Open frame

This is an old revision of this page, as edited by Jamesa7171 (talk | contribs) at 07:01, 9 March 2011 (tenpin is a global sport, and so is the concept of an open frame). The present address (URL) is a permanent link to this revision, which may differ significantly from the current revision.

An open frame in tenpin bowling refers to a frame in which the player made neither a strike nor a spare. Bowling one of these in a professional game is typically devastating enough to one's score to cause a loss.
