I do believe in admin accountability. As wikipedia does not have a binding process for users to file grievances against admins (other than the overburdened Arbcom), I will voluntarily follow the admin recall procedure at User:Lar/Accountability. Note that while I will use Lar's procedure, I have my own eligibility requirements. New requests for recall should go at the bottom of this page.

Eligibility

Note: The purpose of these eligibility requirements are to try to balance the need to allow those with legitimate grievances to be heard, yet protect the process from being gamed. Knowing that this balance is impossible to achieve with quantitative requirements, these requirements are my best effort to do so. Those that are excluded by these requirements, but have a legitimate say in the issue, can make their case to myself or the clerk, who can waive any eligibility requirement. Those that are not eligible via this recall petition, may press their case to other venues, including WP:RFC and WP:RFAR.

Anyone who initiates or votes to support a recal petition or vote in the modified RfC must be able to show dedication to the project. This can be done by being able to show:

  1. A user account in good standing for at least 6 months (no blocks, not subject to editing restrictions imposed by Arbcom, RfC, etc.)
  2. At least 500 article space contributions
  3. Administrator signers must also be open to recall. Listing oneself at CAT:AOR is irrelevant to this requirement. Any admin signer must have on their Userpage or talk (either directly or via link) a commitment to follow an administrator recall procedure where the resignation of administrator privileges is based on the consensus of peers. (I.E. "Convince Jimbo that I should give up the bit" does not count.) The commitment must have been made prior to the event that resulted in the recall petition being initiated.
